A Really Good Mommy Book!!

I highly recommend: I was a really good mom before I had kids: reinventing modern motherhood - Written by Trisha Ashworth and Amy Nobile

I will be the first to admit that motherhood is not what I expected it to be. Most days I feel completely exhausted, and stressed out. Don't get me wrong, I love being a mom and wouldn't trade it for anything, But most days, I do feel a little overwhelmed. My son, Lucas, is now 17 months old, and things are getting easier, but alot of the time I still question whether I'm doing enough with him, or if I'm making mistakes. I wonder If I'm challenging him enough, why he doesn't know his colors yet, and why he isn't speaking as much as his friends are.. etc. Basically since I've become a mom I have been searching for help on how exactly to be a mom. I have read a ton of books, some disappointing, some inaccurate, and some infuriating. But I have just found the best book. I was thinking that I should probably finish the book before I tell people about it. But I am so excited about it that I can't wait to share it. I would highly recommend this book, if your feeling like me..a little lost.. Ok, now that I have recommended this book to all of you, I really hope that the rest of it doesn't suck. Can't wait to hear what you all think of it!!

HI EVERYONE

I thought it would be amazing if we could hang out and be involved in eachothers lives on a practical level. It's really purely for selfish reasons as I would love to glean from all you women who have the answers to all of my questions (lol) - because you do right?
no really, I thought we would all benefit from eachother 's input and that we also have something to give...
So? blog away about anything practical and everyday and well, we'll see where it takes us.
If you have any questions as to how this works or wether or NOT you want these posts sent to your email - let me know (aurmoore@telus.net).
WOO HOO! I have had so many questions but of course as I am writing right now I can't think of any.
